GroundWork

Why Do GroundWork?
Groundwork  is designed to introduce the movements and workouts we do in CrossFit on a daily basis as well as introduce the foundations of living a healthy and active LIFE. As such, it is important for you to attend the requisite Groundwork before attending the normal class. The amount of time spent in Groundwork can vary from person to person depending on how quickly you catch on to the movements. Some stay in Groundwork longer than others, and it’s nothing to worry about. We pride ourselves in the wide range of fitness levels we can accommodate.

Groundwork IS NOT A PUNISHMENT and EVERY member has gone through one version or another of Groundwork. Proper understanding of Groundwork only will help to ensure your long term success!

Once we feel like you have the basic knowledge and mechanics necessary to excel in our normal CrossFit classes, you will ‘graduate’ Groundwork and have full access to the CrossFit Westfield Class Schedule. We encourage all of our clients to be patient and take their time to build a good foundation through Groundwork.  It is crucial to our program and your future success.
